Moskey's MiLB Report

The Bisons fell to the Scranton Yankees 2-1 this afternoon.
Players to note:
Nick Evans and Chip Ambres went 2-4. Evans had a solo homerun.
Luis Rivera went 2-3.

The B-Mets lost in walk-off fashion for the second day in a row to the Defenders 7-6.
Players to note:
Mark Kiger and Salvador Paniagua both went 3-4. Kiger drove in 2 and stole a base, Paniagua drove in 3.
Caleb Stewart and Jonathan Malo went 2-4.

The St. Lucie Mets defeated the Sarasota Reds 9-4.
Players to note:
Carlos Guzman went 3-4 with 2 RBIs.
Hector Pellot went 3-5 with 2 RBIs.
Seth Williams went 3-5 with a homerun.
Reese Havens went 2-4 with a homerun and 4 RBIs.

The Gnats took the middle game of their series with the Rome Braves 5-4.
Players to note:
Jefry Marte went 3-5 with 2 runs scored.
Nicholas Giarraputo went 2-4 with an RBI

The Cyclones shutout the Aberdeen IronBirds 5-0 in the first no-hitter of Cyclones' history.
Players to note:
Justin Garber went 3-4 with 2 runs scored.
Alex Gregory went 2-3 with an RBI and a run scored.
Brandon Moore pitched 7.0 shutout, hitless innings striking out 6 and walking 3.
-This was the first no hitter in Cyclones history. Moore said his fastball command was not it's best but his changeup was very effective.

Kingsport defeated the Bristol Sox 2-1.
Players to note:
Cesar Puello went 1-2 with a homerun and 2 runs scored.
Pedro Zapata went 1-3 with an RBI.
