A shoutout goes out to Joe Beningo of WFAN who's long rant last week helped light a fire under the Mets. Since his long rant on Thursday, the Mets are 5-0 and are on their first 5 game winning streak of the season.

Maybe this is what the Mets needed all year, to hear someone go ballistic and rip the team apart to get them fired up. They know they are better than what they showed in Philadelphia, and they definitely have shown it since.
